Quilt Seminar
GSQA holds a biennial four-day seminar in odd numbered years during the Spring in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Seminar is an important component of the GSQA experience. It affords members as well as non-members the
opportunity to learn from some of the best teachers in the nation. The teachers are chosen from the pool of
quilters who have been on television, have written books, and who are well-known in the world of quilting as
experts in their fields. These are truly hands-on classes which last at least one whole day, and many are two
and three-day events. Along with the classes, some teachers are selected for their motivational and educational
speaking sessions. This GSQA "retreat" is a popular event.
