2012 Quilt Show
GSQA presents a biennial quilt show on even numbered years. This
show is generally held in the Greater New Orleans area and
includes a chance to win a beautiful opportunity quilt, designed and
made by the members.
GSQA’s 2012 quilt show will be held on April 20 and 21, 2012, at
the Northshore Harbor Center; 100 Harbor Center Blvd in Slidell,
Louisiana. Click here for directions.

It’s time to start working on all those quilts you plan to enter,
especially one interpreting our theme, Charmingly Southern. There
will be lots to see and do at the show, including the Hoffman 2011
Challenge Quilt exhibit, Alzheimer Art Quilt Initiative miniature
quilts, and a special exhibit of art bras unique to our show.
2012 Quilt Show Theme is "Charmingly Southern"
Your GSQA board listens to the membership, and consequently, it
will now cost less to enter a quilt in the 2012 show. The registration
fee for each entry is now $5.00. This means you can enter each and
every one of your stunning creations, leading us to the best quilt
show ever.
The price rollbacks continue with the cost of show admission.
Admission prices have been set at $7 for adults, $4 for children
twelve and under. A two-day admission bracelet can be purchased
for $10
