New Classes (Photos Coming Soon):

Paper-Pieced Hearts:

A good way to practice or learn your paper piecing skills.  This cute wall hanging can be transformed into a table runner or gift for someone special.  The heart blocks are paper-pieced and then a flying geese round was added for extra sparkle.  The unusual “migrating” geese border adds to the charm of this sweet quilt.  The quilt can be pieced out of scraps or planned.  It can be Valentine or Christmas, or 4th of July.  Kit fee-$2.00 (includes paper patterns and instructions for the migrating geese border).

Plain and Fancy, Finishing Your Quilt

Students will have numerous samples of quilt finishes to do in class.  These samples can be used as their own private library treatments.  Each sample is sewn to a large index card.  Seven pages of information for future reference are also included.  Kit fee-$10.00 (includes everything needed for this class.

Trapunto, Fancy or Fast

In this class you will learn how to do the faux trapunto and the more time consuming traditional trapunto.  This is a learning experience and not necessarily a project class, although the sample can be used for a pillow top.  Kit fee-$10.00 (includes pre-marked top of muslin, batting, backing, needle, stuffing tool).

 Stitch And Whack:

An original design and a good scrap quilt using squares or strips to create a quick  and easy quilt. No matching seams except for corners. Good way to use up some  of those charm squares that you don’t know what to do with.

Geometry
This is a nice two color family unit. Use two color families:  a light fabric in each of the color families, and a medium color in one color family, and a dark in the other color family.  Or this can be a scrap quilt using just darks and lights.
