Sewing Machine in GOOD working order

Basic Sewing Supplies including neutral thread

Rotary Cutting Mat, Cutter with Fresh Blade

Rectangle Ruler that is about 6.5 x 12 AND has a 60-degree line printed on it.

 (you could also use a 60-degree ruler to make first cut)

Fabric for 84 x 90 quilt:

2.5 yards of favorite border print (choose one with many colors and then pick diamond strips to coordinate)

2 5/8 yards of Black Kona Cotton

Enough scrap strips measuring 2.5” wide and at least 23 inches long (yields one diamond)

 OR   2.5” WOF strips (yields two diamonds)

 do not remove the selvages before we cut.

OR any combination of the above to total:  24 darks, 30 lights, 54 mediums
